What type of Meal Plan is recommended?
We have a variety of meal plans to meet your needs! Depending on your class year, where you live, and how much you are on campus, our recommendations may vary. Be sure to use our filter and sort functions to help choose your plan. How can I purchase a Meal Plan?
You can purchase your meal plan at the OneCard office located in the WLU Concourse.
Are Meal Plans required?
All first year students living in a dormitory style residence are required to purchase a meal plan. Residence students who have a mandatory Dining Plan will use their OneCard as their meal card. Dining Plans allow students to purchase food from on campus locations including: The Fresh Food Company (Dining Hall), Harvey’s, Pizza Pizza, Williams, Mr. Sub, Union Market, Bento Sushi, Spring Rolls, Tim Horton’s, Starbucks, Extreme Pita, Subway, Second Cup and Wilf’s.
What is Declining Balance?
Declining Balance dollars are accepted as payment at all on campus restaurants. They are loaded right on your ONE Card, so there is no need to carry around cash or another card! There is no minimum balance, over draft fees, or hassles!
How do I get Declining Balance?
Declining Balance can be purchased at the OneCard office located in the WLU Concourse.
What if I want to change my Meal Plan?

How do I get into the dining locations once I have purchased my Meal Plan?
Present your card to the cashier in the dining hall or other participation location, they will scan your One Card and you are all set!
Can I carry meals over to the next semester?
Once your meal plan is purchased in the September, your meals expire at the end of April.
Can I treat a friend to a meal?
To keep discounts as high as possible, meals are reserved for the meal plan holder only. However, you can always treat a friend using your Convenience Account and or guest passes.
What do I do when my Declining Balance gets low?
You can reload your Flex Dollars/Convenience Dollars at any time! Visit the One Card office in the WLU Concourse.
Where is the Meal Plan Office Located?
The OneCard office located in the WLU Concourse.
Can my Meal Plan Card be used by someone else?
No one other than you may use your OneCard. Cards are non-transferable. If someone is found to be using your card, it will be confiscated and sent to the OneCard Office.
If a OneCard is lost or stolen, it is protected once it has been reported in person at the OneCard Office or online at Online Banking
. OneCards that have been lost or stolen outside of office hours can be deactivated at any food service location On Campus, or the above website, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Replacement cards are $20 +HST.
